Re-covering the Greenhouse
Help us replace the cover of the greenhouse in the Spring of 2025
As the weather warms up in the spring of 2025, we will be putting a new cover on our greenhouse.
Our greenhouse is an essential part of our Native Plant Center. Over the winter months, plugs and pots of plants are grown in the greenhouse for restoration projects and the native plant sales respectively. Our partnerships are part of what makes PRI important, we don't just grow native flowers and grasses but provide those species for partner organizations to use on their restoration sites. Meanwhile, the native plant sales in the spring encourages people to consider native plants instead of invasive ornamentals which do not benefit the native species of insects and birds.
We will need at least eight people to help with the re-covering of our greenhouse, making this a great project to get involved with Pacific Rim Institute, with tangible results.
