What is Whidbey Island Cider Festival?
Whidbey Island Cider Festival is the major fundraising event for Pacific Rim Institute and a chance to share with the community the work that Pacific Rim Institute does to restore the endangered westside prairie habitat and the species found therein.
Started in 2017, the Whidbey Island Cider Festival used to fit in the Granary building at Pacific Rim Institute. In 2023 the event was held outdoors, and exceeded the capacity of PRI. In 2024 the event was held at the Greenbank Farm for the first time.
For 2025 the plan is to expand the tasting garden, making it open to all-ages.
